A site for the story, not the sell

This site used to do two jobs at once. It told my story and it tried to sell coaching. Doing both at the same time made it worse at each.

So I split them. davidbarn.es is now the story: the roles, the builds, the experiments, and what I am working on now. If you want to read where I have been and where my head is at, this is the place.

The coaching and consulting moved to its own home at Zero to N. That is where founders go if they want to work with me. Keeping it separate means each site can be honest about what it is for.

What to expect here

I will write short pieces on three things:

• Product leadership, and the judgement calls that actually move the work
• Building, including the side projects I use to keep my hands dirty
• AI, and where it changes the job rather than just adding noise

No hot takes for the sake of it. When I have something specific and useful to say, it will land here.
